Pursuant to Mayor LaChapelle’s May 19th, 2021 Mayoral Authorization in
accordance with Massachusetts 940 CMR 29.10, this meeting of the
Easthampton Board of Public Works will be conducted via remote participation.

3. Approval of the January 19, 2022, Meeting Minutes
Motion to approve January 19, 2022 minutes was made by: Thomas Malsbury

4. Review of Tighe & Bond Proposal for Water Sewer and Stormwater Rate
Evaluation update assistance.
• Board members did get to look over Tighe & Bond’s “Scoop of Work” proposal to continue
working with the city
• Stormwater could be different from a Water/Sewer rate or part of the water/sewer rate
• Realistic time line on when to set rates
• Meeting could be workshops with open discussion
• Management plan for each facility. Capital Plan
• Greg will move forward with Tighe & Bond
5. Director’s Report
• Snow last weekend
• Another storm to come in this week.
• RFB at Main & Glendale installed. Will be finished in the spring
• Automation issues at the plant. Older system needs updating. Things have been running
manually. It will be a costly improvement.
• Repairs to COA elevator
• Smoke detectors upgrade at the Fire station
• Back to full staff
• Union street to start in the spring
