CITY OF EASTHAMPTON OFFICE OF THE CITY COUNCIL FINANCE Meeting 02/10/2021 Attendees: FINANCE Committee Members: Councilor Peg Conniff and Councilor Homar Gomez Other Attendees: Nicole LaChapelle Mayor , Jennifer Gallant City Treasurer .Jenn Ramsey Easthampton Media executive Director. Meeting called to order at 5:00pm. The meeting was videotaped. Minutes from 2/1/21 were approved 2-0 Mayor Communication: none Public Speak: none New Business • 1. Interdepartmental Transfer • Councilor Conniff explained how Easthampton media receives the money from cable tv subscribers and also explained the reasons why now it is necessary to make this interdepartmental transfer of these accounts. • Jenn Ramsey gave a brief description of how Easthampton media uses the money it receives and future plans for more income. 1. To be transferred from: PEG Access Account $ 132,000.00 #027.1210.4399.2833 2. To be transferred to: PEG Access Account $ 132,000.00 #027.1210.5400.2833 Motion by Councilor Gomez ,Seconded by Councilor Conniff , Pass 2-0  Mayor Nicole Lachapelle explained to the Finance Committee what this transfer is for the library and what the library is going to use this money for. Councilor Gomez asked the mayor if this money could be used to pay the library's payroll to which she answered yes. 3. Amount requested: $10,000.00To be transferred from: # 087 (Cannabis Stabilization Fund) 4. To be transferred to: # 001.6100.5805.2021 $10,000.00 (Library) Motion by Councilor Gomez ,Seconded by Councilor Conniff , Pass 2-0 - Motion to adjourn by Councilor Gomez, Second Councilor Conniff 2-0 NEXT MEETING: TBD
