March 14th, 2024 – 6:30 p.m.
All agenda items shall follow protocol including staff overview, Board discussion, questions by public, Board disposition of item. The public must be recognized by the President.

a. Sheriff’s Report – Not Present
b. President Gasser’s Report – Negotiation with City of Racine about Sewer and Water Agreement, due by next
January 2025, in communication with Village attorney about this; 3365/3367 N Elmwood Dr duplex stop work
order until permits are pulled;

g. Trustee Studey – March 30th Easter Egg Hunt, 2pm, Outside Village hall or gym

i. Administrator Shaw’s Report – Snow removal bids starting for 2025-2026; Still working on getting tenants in Bldg
5; Possibly resurrecting beautification award this year.

a. Discussion & possible decision about purchasing and installing speed humps in village to reduce speeding in
residential areas.
- two residents have come forward against the speed humps because they don’t see the need and concerned about
wear and tear on the vehicles
- Per Trustee Johnson, a few residents on Maryland Ave are in favor because of speeding delivery trucks and
residents driving through at high rates of speed.
- Interested in flashing stop signs on Taylor & Lathrop to help people slow down and see stop signs.
- Working on getting speed radar on Lathrop from Sheriff’s Dept.
- Possibly replace yield signs with stop signs near “Circle Tree”.
- Tabling and will make decision in April.
b. Discussion & possible approval of new loan amount for Complex window and building maintenance projects.
