MINUTES VILLAGE OF ENOSBURG FALLS Meeting of the Board of Trustees October 29th, 2024 Present: Sandra Ferland, Eli Gabuzda, Heather Moore, Sam Vaillancourt and Leonard Charron Staff – John Dasaro, Abbey Miller Guests –Pauline Loiselle, Jason Longway, Brenda Stanley, Jesse Woods, Greg Lamoureux, Leigh Kittell, Melanie Kittell, Paul Hatch, Mary Hatch Meeting was called to order by Sam Vaillancourt at 6:30pm 1. Local Option Tax Discussion Sam Vaillancourt stated that the purpose of this meeting was to determine if the Village is going to retain the Local Option Tax Vote on this year’s ballot after learning that the absentee ballot timeline was missed and the improper wording on the ballot. A motion was made by Sam Vaillancourt to cancel the Local Option Tax vote on November 5th, removing the ballot. Seconded by Eli Gabuzda. Unanimous. The Local Option Tax Vote is cancelled for November 5th, 2024. 2. Adjourn There being no other business to come before the Board at this time Eli Gabuzda made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Heather Moore. The meeting was adjourned at 6:42pm.
