CALL MEETING TO ORDER Mayor Carroll called the February 12, 2019 Regular Meeting to order at 8:15 pm. II. X. BOARD OF TRUSTEES REPORTS & APPOINTMENTS 8:50 PM Trustee Haid complimented the Town Administrator on his weekly updates. Trustee Charles had two questions for the Town Administrator and Town Attorney. Trustee Woog requested that staff streamline the development process. XI. EXECUTIVE SESSION 9:00 PM TOWN OF ERIE Page 4 Printed on 3/12/2019 Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes - Final February 12, 2019 19-083 An Executive Session To Hold A Conference With The Town's Attorney To Receive Legal Advice On Specific Legal Questions, Pursuant To C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b), Concerning: (1) A Topic That Cannot Be Disclosed Without Compromising The Purpose Of The Executive Session; And (2) The Nine Mile Litigation Mayor Pro Tem Deakin moved to go into Executive Session for a conference with the Town Attorney for the purpose of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions under C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b), for which a topic cannot be disclosed with compromising the purpose of the executive session, and for the Nine Mile litigation. The motion was seconded by Trustee Charles. Mayor Carroll announced; It's Tuesday, February 12, 2019, the time is 9:37 pm. For the record, I am the presiding officer, Mayor Carroll. As required by the Open Meetings Law, this executive session is being electronically recorded. Also present at this executive session are the entire Board of Trustees, Town Attorney Kendra Carberry, Town Administrator Malcolm Fleming, Chief of Police Kim Stewart and Community Services Director Farrell Buller. Mayor Carroll announced; the time 10:23 pm, and the executive session has concluded. For the record, if any person who participated in the executive session believes that any substantial discussion of any matters not included in the motion to go into the executive session occurred during the executive session, or that any action occurred during the executive session in violation of the Open Meetings Law, I would ask that you state your concerns for the record.
