CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING Minutes from Meeting February 22, 2024 The meeting commenced at 9:30 a.m. Staff members in virtual attendance were Michael Duerr, Chelan Robins, Danielle Marks, and Bernice Delgado. ROLL CALL OF THE COMMISSION Present via Teams were Commission Chair Ethel McNeal, Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin, and Legal Counsel Christine Svihus. SUBMITTAL AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the meeting minutes of the January 25, 2024. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT No public in attendance. No public comment submitted by correspondence. REVIEW OF THE PERSONNEL ACTION REPORT Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Personnel Action Report for January 2024. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER APPROVAL OF CALLS FOR APPLICANTS Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Chief Examiner Approvals of Calls for Applicants for February 2024. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER CERTIFICATIONS OF ELIGIBLE REGISTERS Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Chief Examiner Certifications of Eligible Registers for February 2024. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. NEW BUSINESS REVISED CLASS SPECIFICATIONS A. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the revised class specification for Electrician. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. B. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the revised class specification for Electrical Safe Worker Program Administrator. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. C. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the revised class specification for Lead Groundskeeper. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion.
