CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING Minutes from Meeting April 25, 2024 The meeting commenced at 9:32 a.m. Staff members in virtual attendance were Michael Duerr, Danielle Marks, and Bernice Delgado. ROLL CALL OF THE COMMISSION Present via Teams were Commission Chair Ethel McNeal, Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin, Commissioner Josh Curry, and Legal Counsel Christine Svihus. SUBMITTAL AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the meeting minutes of the March 28, 2024. Commissioner Joshua Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT No public in attendance. No public comment submitted by correspondence. REVIEW OF THE PERSONNEL ACTION REPORT Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Personnel Action Report for March 2024. Commissioner Joshua Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER APPROVAL OF CALLS FOR APPLICANTS Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Chief Examiner Approvals of Calls for Applicants for April 2024. Commissioner Joshua Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER CERTIFICATIONS OF ELIGIBLE REGISTERS Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Chief Examiner Certifications of Eligible Registers for April 2024. Commissioner Joshua Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. NEW BUSINESS REVISED CLASS SPECIFICATIONS A. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the revised class specification for Groundskeeper. Commissioner Joshua Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. B. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the revised class specification for Golf and Grounds Equipment Technician. Commissioner Josh Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. C. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the revised class specification for Golf and Athletic Supervisor. Commissioner Josh Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. D. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the revised class specification for Parks and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor. Commissioner Josh Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. OTHER BUSINESS No other business.
