City of Excelsior City Council Closed Session MINUTES Monday, July 18, 2022 Followed City Council Meeting 1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Mayor Carlson called the closed session to order at 10:15 P.M. City Council: Mayor Carlson and Councilmembers Caron, Dierking, Hersman, and Kurschner Absent: None Also Present: City Manager Luger and Assistant City Manager/City Attorney Staunton 2. AGENDA APPROVAL Kurschner moved, Dierking seconded, to approve the July 18, 2022 City Council Closed Session Agenda. Motion carried 5/0. 3. MOTION TO CLOSE THE MEETING PURSUANT TO MINN. STAT. § 13D.05, SUBD. 3(C) Caron moved, Hersman seconded, to enter the closed session to consider an offer to purchase real estate located at 261 School Avenue. Motion carried 5/0. 4. CLOSED SESSION FOR CONSIDERATION OF OFFER TO PURCHASE REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT 261 SCHOOL AVENUE 5. MOTION TO RETURN TO OPEN SESSION Dierking moved, Hersman seconded, to return to open session.
