MEETING NOTES/MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES STRATEGIC PLANNING RETREAT MARY RILEY STYLES PUBLIC LIBRARY Held in the Mary Riley Styles Public Library 120 N. The group then had time to discuss thoughts and reactions to the Findings Book review guided by the consultants. Mr. Cullin and Ms. Nelson implemented a series of discussion groups throughout the day to elicit values, ideas, and priorities that would be used to guide strategic initiatives. They also led a discussion and exercise on mission and vision. All of the information received during the retreat will be used to develop a draft strategic plan that will be reviewed by the library Management Team. The next steps will be a review and approval by the Library Board of the high-level strategic plan.
