Fort Mill Town Council Workshop Minutes Monday March 10, 2025 6:00 p.m. Council Chambers 112 Confederate Street Fort Mill, SC 29715 PRESENT: Mayor Savage, Councilman Helms, Councilman Wolfe, Councilman Moody, Councilman Garrison, Councilwoman Cook and Councilman Hudgins were present. CALL TO ORDER PLEDGE OF ALLEGENCE INVOCATION EXECUTIVE SESSION Please Note: Council may take action on Executive Session Items listed on the agenda when they come back into Public Session. Executive Session Item #1 Attorney Interviews Executive Session Item #2 Receipt of Legal Advice Mayor Savage asked for motions to go into executive session for two items including attorney interviews and the receipt of legal advice for potential claims relating to the sale of real property. Councilman Wolfe made a MOTION to go into Executive Session. SECONDED by Councilman Garrison. Passed 7-0. Councilwoman Cook made a MOTION to come out of Executive Session. SECONDED by Councilman Helms. Passed 7-0. OLD BUSINESS There were no Old Business Items. Councilman Garrison recused himself from the voting on this item. Councilman Wolfe made a MOTION to approve the award of a construction contract to Edifice, LLC for Fort Mill Town Hall Renovation Phase 1. SECONDED by Councilman Moody. Passed 6-0. Councilwoman Cook left the meeting at 7:51 p.m. INFORMATION/DISCUSSION Information / Discussion Item #1 Financial Policy Amendments Councilman Moody made a MOTION to establish a threshold of $7,500 for qualified subscription- based information technology assets. SECONDED by Councilman Garrison. Passed 6-0. Information / Discussion Item #2 Capital Needs - Sanitation Trucks Information / Discussion Item #3 Comprehensive Plan Update ADJOURN Councilman Garrison made MOTION to adjourn. SECONDED by Councilman Hudgins. Passed 6-0.
