Finance Committee Meeting

FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING September 16, 2025 – 3:00 PM Council Chambers, 42 N. Main Street Minutes prepared by: Barb Schmidtknecht The meeting was called to order at 3:02 pm by Barb Schmidtknecht. Roll call: Chris Williamson, Stephen Qualy, Barb Schmidtknecht all present. Others present: Mayor Ben Adank, Marcia Larson, Michele Klein. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Approval of minutes was postponed. Review of the proposed 2026 general budget continued. Other funds will be reviewed at the next meeting. Ben shared the 2026 planning document outlining estimated costs. The council approved the purchase of a new tractor and Tractor Central would like the purchase to happen by September 15. They agreed to a $34,000 down payment with full payment by November 20. Motion to adjourn by Chris, second Stephen. Motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 5:42 pm.
