Planning / Zoning / Economic Development July 7, 2025 – 3:00 pm Minutes prepared by: Peter Scha ner The mee ng was called to order at 3:00 pm by Peter Scha ner. Roll call: Sco Feraro, Peter Scha ner, Chris ne Williamson, arrived at 3:04. Others present: Mayor Ben Adank, Bob Abts, Janet Alcamo. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Mo on Sco , second Chris to approve the minutes of the June 4, 2025 mee ng. Mo on carried and the minutes were approved. Ci zens brought complaints about unkept proper es and burning issues. The commi ee addressed: The unkept property will be addressed with the new Property Management Ordinance that the commi ee will recommend to the full council for approval. The burning issues will be addressed with the city not issuing burning permits to those whom complaints are received. We need to give the renewed ordinance a chance. Commi ee recommends no change to the cost of building permits. Board of appeals pay for members will be added and considered with an over all review of the Zoning Ordinance. Will also add Mobile Home Park procedures to next Zoning mee ng. The commi ee will con nue to inves gate a noise ordinance. Mo on Peter, second Chris to forward a recommenda on to council to adopt the Property Management Ordinance at the August council mee ng. Mo on carried unanimously. Mo on Chris, second Sco to forward a recommenda on to council to approve a lease agreement between Chipat, LLC and the City of Fountain City. Mo on carried unanimously. Mo on Chris, second Sco to adjourn, Mo on carried and the mee ng adjourned at 3:57 pm.
