POLICE/PERSONNEL & HEALTH/SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETING June 3, 2025 - 4:00 pm Minutes prepared by: Barb Schmidtknecht The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm by Barb Schmidtknecht. Roll call: David Endres, Peter Schaffner, Barb Schmidtknecht all present. Others present: Mayor Ben Adank and Deputy Ryan Howell. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion Peter, second David to approve minutes of the January 8, 2025 meeting. Motion carried and minutes were approved. Ryan Howell indicated the county is withdrawing the proposal for expanded contracted patrol services. Brock Olson is replacing Nic Scholl as one of the dedicated officers for Fountain City as part of the law enforcement contract. The trax system fine & penalties were reviewed. Review with the ordinances and fees will continue. Options for employee health insurance will continue to be explored. There were no concerns of overtime hours. Motion Peter, second David to adjourn. Motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 5:00 pm.
