Roll call: Peter Scha ner, Barb Schmidtknecht, David Endres. Others present: Travis Williamson, Mike Adank. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Ci zens’ comments: No public comments received. Mo on Barb, second Peter to approve the minutes of the January 6, 2026, mee ng. Mo on carried and the minutes were approved. Mo on Barb second Peter to forward a recommenda on to the council to approve resolu on 2026-02 establishing a penalty of $150.00 for viola on of the city sand hauling ordinance. Mo on Barb second Peter to forward a recommenda on to the council to approve a request to close part of Main Street on Sunday May 24, 2026. Items discussed: Large recycling pick up. Set date with contractor. I would like to set it as a recurring annual date. Committee will recommend to the contractor the weekend after the 100-mile garage sale. Emergency Operations Plan. Finalizes names and job descriptions. Forward copy to county. This needs to be completed before we can receive aid money if an emergency happens. Develop a list of houses with springs that are emptying into the sewer. Implement a plan to eliminate spring water from being pumped into city sewer. Locate & repair curb stops on Justin Hill Street Consider where to put snow. Consider not putting it on the new black top at park. Possibly at recycling center. Motion Peter, second Barb to adjourn, Motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 6:20 pm.
