March 8, 2021 The Fredericktown Village council met in special session on March 8, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fredericktown Municipal Building. PRESENT: Council Members Brewer, de Rojas, Lanuzza, Shoemaker, and Van Nostrand; Village Administrator Snell. President Pro-Tempore called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. NEW BUSINESS: • There was extensive discussion among all five Council members regarding whether to choose from the previous applicants for a Council vacancy or whether to start the process over taking new applications. Shoemaker made a motion to offer the position to previous applicant Scott McKnight; if Mr. McKnight does not accept the appointment, the position will be offered to previous applicant Corey Fearn; if neither previous applicant accepts the appointment, the appointed process will be started over, with applications being accepted until March 15th at noon. Motion was seconded by de Rojas. All votes were in favor with the exception of Lanuzza. Council determined that interviews will be at a yet-to-be- determined time on March 22, 2001. ADJOURNMENT – Shoemaker made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Brewer. All Yea.
