The Fredericktown Village council met in regular session on April 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fredericktown
Municipal Building.
PRESENT: Council Members Brewer, de Rojas, Hobson, Lanuzza, Shoemaker and McKnight;
Administrator Snell; Chief Myers.
Mayor Day called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
INVOCATION: Invocation was given by Pastor Ruth Douglas.
MINUTES:
• Hobson made a motion to approve the March 21, 2022 minutes. Seconded by Lanuzza.
• Hobson made a motion to approve the March 23, 2022 minutes with change. de Rojas did not vote
nay on tree grates or electrical outlets, she arrived after vote was taken. Seconded by Brewer.

ORDINANCE NO. 2022-06 - PAYROLL ORDINANCE
Hobson made a motion to pass Ordinance 2022-06. Seconded by de Rojas. All Yea.

FREDERICKTOWN TO THE KNOX COUNTY AUDITOR
(First Reading) RESOLUTION 2022-10 - AN RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE FISCAL
OFFICER TO AMEND THE 2022 BUDGET AND APPRORIATIONS FOR THE VILLAGE OF
FREDERICKTOWN TO THE KNOX COUNTY AUDITOR
ORDINANCE 2022-11 - AN ORDINANCE AWARDING THE HIGH STREET WATER TOWER
REHAB PROJECT TO WORLDWIDE INDUSTRIES, INC., AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
OR VILLAGE ADMDINISTRATOR TO SIGN AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
WORLDWIDE INSUDTRIES, INC., AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
Lanuzza made a motion to waive the three readings of Ordinance 2022-11. Seconded by Brewer.

OLD BUSINESS:
• Brewer asked for update on repairs at sewer plant. Administrator Snell said parts are ordered.
NEW BUSINESS:
• Mayor Day talked about the new benches that were donated downtown.
VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: None
FISCAL OFFICER'S REPORT:
• AUP AUDIT: Village has received notice from Wilson, Phillips & Agin CPA's Inc. that they will
be performing our audit for 2020-2021, date to be determined. This will be an AUP (agreed upon
procedure) audit.
• WORKERS’ COMP RENEWAL, tabled to next meeting.
• GAS AGGREGATION. Volunteer Energy has filed bankruptcy. Send current contract with
Volunteer to Solicitor Landon. Reaching out to another company to get request for proposals.
POLICE CHIEF REPORT:
• New Police Chief’s Training completed last week
• Neighborhood Watch meeting, April 19th 6:30 p.m.
• Police & EMS training for mental health first aid, April 20th
• Drug take back day April 30th 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
ZONING INSPECTOR’S REPORT: None
SOLICITOR'S REPORT: None
COMMITTEE REPORTS: None
**All Regular Committee meetings shall begin at 5:30 p.m.
PLANNING COMMISSION: Next meeting May, date to be determined.
PUBLIC WORKS: Next meeting April 18th
SAFETY & FINANCE COMMITTEES: Next meeting May 2nd
MISCELLANEOUS COMMITTEE REPORTS: None
