Library Board

February 20, 2017 Board President Larry Jirsak called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. in the library board room with the following members present: Lori Dahl, Shari Kment and Earl Underwood. Mandy Ostdiek was absent. Also present was Library Director Tina Walker and Senior Office Associate Tracy Parr. Tracy will be recording the meeting minutes. The meeting was preceded by publicized notice in the Fremont Tribune and the agenda displayed in the municipal building, the Keene Memorial Library, online at www.fremontne.gov/library and distributed and emailed to the Library Board members on February 10, 2017 and is open to the public. A copy of the open meeting law is posted continually for public inspection and is located near the entrance to the Board Room. Roll Call – Everyone except Mandy Ostdiek were present and accounted for. Board Member Jirsak moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on January 16, 2017, Board Member Underwood made the motion to approve and Board Member Dahl seconded it. Carried. Unfinished business – No unfinished business. New Business – George Lawson report review. Director’s Report – No Director’s report given due to spending time on George Lawson’s report overview. NEWS - The Friends of the Library have signed up for “The Big Give” that is happening May 9th, that is when we will go public with the expansion. Friends of the Library’s Report – None Presented With no further business, meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m. with Board Member Kment making the motion to approve and Board Member Dahl seconding it.
