CITY COUNCIL BOARD LIAISON REPORTS – This time is set aside for Council members to report on the
responsibilities they oversee as liaisons to the City Council and goals they would like to achieve by the next Council
Meeting.

AGENDA REVIEW – The City Council will review items on the Agenda for City Council Meeting this evening.
7:30 P.M. POLICY SESSION – CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS
CITY BUSINESS:
6. CONSENT AGENDA: (These items are considered by the City Council to be routine. If discussion is desired
on any particular item, it may be removed from the consent agenda and considered separately.)
6.1. July Check Register
6.2. July Budget Report
7. ACTION ITEM APPROVAL – These items need action from Mayor and City Council
7.1. Approve/Deny: Request to purchase Server and Desktop workstations in preparation for software
upgrade. The City Manager has received bids from 3 sources. (Brandon Green)
BACKGROUND: Current desktops and server will not support required upgrades for new
Caselle accounting software. City Manager is requesting to purchase (1) new server and (5) new
desktop work stations.
7.2. Approve/Deny: Resolution 2018-02 Adopting all updates and modifications to an agreement between
Fruit Heights City and Comcast. .
BACKGROUND: The city attorney’s office has reviewed the agreement between Fruit Heights
City and Comcast. Due to cable regulatory changes, a new franchise agreement is necessary. City
Staff is recommending approval of the agreement. (Brandon Green)
8. INFORMATION ITEMS/UPCOMING EVENTS:
2018 Midterm Elections, November 6, 2018 (No City Council Meeting Scheduled)
Veterans Day, November 12, 2018 (City Office Closed)
Thanksgiving, November 22 & 23, 2018 (City Office Closed)
9. CITY STAFF REPORTS - This time is set aside to update the City Council on City Projects that City Staff is
working on. These projects include Public Works Projects and Administrative Projects.

10. CITY COUNCIL/MAYOR’S ITEMS – Time has been set aside for the City Council and Mayor to make
comments.
11. ELECTRONIC MEETING: By motion of the Fruit Heights City Council, Elected Officials and City Staff
can participate in regularly scheduled meetings via electronic media when approved by the Mayor.
12. CLOSED MEETING: By motion of the Fruit Heights City Council, pursuant to Title 52, Chapter 4 of the
Utah Code, the City Council may vote to hold a closed meeting for any of the purposes identified in that
chapter.
13. ADJOURNMENT: The Next City Council Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, 2018
