This Ordinance was Adopted on the Consent Agenda. Postponed to April 3, 2017 for Public Hearing - ORD-0017-2017 TO AMEND PART ELEVEN, PLANNING AND ZONING CODE, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA. Motion Resolution: MR-0007-2017 MOTION RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,000 TO ACCOUNT NO. 101.348.5512, IT CAPITAL EQUIPMENT, TO PURCHASE AN ADDITIONAL SAN (STORAGE AREA NETWORK) FOR THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT. Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education - Metzbower Foundation has meeting on 3/11/17; theme is a night in Las Vegas; great cause; School Board meeting is this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. City of Gahanna Page 3 City Council Meeting Minutes March 6, 2017 Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) - Renner Join Visit Gahanna at 7:30 a.m. on 3/22/17 for a breakfast workshop at LaNavona. M. OFFICIAL REPORTS: Mayor 22 Economic Development projects; jobs retained over 1,480; capital investment is high; working actively to track data; pleased with performance. City Attorney No report. N. COUNCIL COMMENT Angelou wished Mayor good luck on Chamber State of the City breakfast. Metzbower said please to attend the Las Vegas event for the school board. O. EXECUTIVE SESSION - A motion was made by Schnetzer, seconded by Leeseberg, to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(g) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider confidential information related to the marketing plans, specific business strategy, production techniques, trade secrets, or personal financial statements of an applicant for economic development assistance, or to negotiations with other political subdivisions respecting requests for economic development assistance AND to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing. The motion carried by the following vote: President Larick requested Anthony Jones, Mayor (for Economic Development), Clerk of Council and Abby Cochran (for personnel) attend the Executive Session. Executive Session was held in the committee room.
