CALL MEETING TO ORDER - Roll Call. Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Monday, May 8, 2017, in Council Chambers of City Hall, 200 South Hamilton Road, Gahanna, Ohio. President of Council, Brian D. Larick, called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. Agenda for this meeting was published on May 5, 2017. * Leeseberg arrived at 6:20 p.m. Present 7 - Brian D. Larick, Jamie Leeseberg, Stephen A. Renner, Michael Schnetzer, Nancy R. McGregor, Brian Metzbower, and Karen J. Angelou B. EXECUTIVE SESSION - to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(c) of the Council Rules of Procedure to confer with the City Attorney for the public body concerning disputes involving the public body that are the subject of pending or imminent court action AND to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing. A motion was made by Schnetzer, seconded by Metzbower, to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(c) of the Council Rules of Procedure to confer with the City Attorney for the public body concerning disputes involving the public body that are the subject of pending or imminent court action AND to go into Executive Session under authority of Section City of Gahanna Page 1 City Council - Special Meeting Minutes May 8, 2017 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing. President Larick requested Brian Zets, Mayor Kneeland, Jennifer Teal and Shane Ewald to attend the Executive Session. Executive Session was held in the Law Library. Council rose to Executive Session at 6:15 p.m. Council rose to report from Executive Session at 7:29 p.m. with no action taken. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7- Larick, Leeseberg, Renner, Schnetzer, McGregor, Metzbower and Angelou C. ADJOURNMENT - by Renner at 7:30 p.m. City of Gahanna Page 2
