Approval of December meeting minutes Voting items: Property improvement reimbursement request: Jon Kauzlaric, Coal Ave, Reports: Financial report Trash can enclosure decorating project – Gallup BID, MainStreet Arts & Cultural District and Gallup Arts are developing action plan for painting and contest, including PR effort. Gallup MRA Plan and Cultural Plan were voted on and adopted by Gallup City Council on December 15. Copies of plans for Board members. Historic District Nomination process continues. Gallup’s nomination has been rescheduled scheduled to be heard at the April meeting of NM HPD in Santa Fe. HPD has redrawn District boundaries, eliminating land north of railroad tracks. Rt. 66/NM 118 Pedestrian Improvement Project – contractor selected. Skate park Project – letter to legislators requesting financial support Caboose Restoration Project Schedule next meeting of BID executive committee in early February. Ride, Flight, Cruise event committee planning on schedule. Information re: tax credit available for rehab of buildings in an Arts & Cultural District. New business opening: Silver Stallion Coffee Shop Downtown business owner looking for space for a second business.
