DeYoung Motion to adjust Monthly Financial Report by adding a line item for Downtown Security Camera Pilot Program with $1500 allocated and to accept the adjusted budget: J. DeYoung; 2nd: M. Ustick Voting items: Sign grants: Makeshift Gallery – Motion to approve BID reimbursement of $375: J. De Young; 2nd: M. Menapace Silver Dust Trading – sing not yet completed. No vote. J. Rich requested that the BID Board consider changing the Sign Grant Program to reduce the number of businesses eligible; and the Façade Improvement Program to include purchase/installation of security camera systems placed inside their stores by individual business owners. Reports: Jon DeYoung provided Coal Avenue Event Street planning update. Report on August 30 GEDA meeting Coordinated telephone meeting, with Jennifer Lazarz and Parker Key, Buxton Analytics, to review Buxton’s offerings for targeting tourism source markets and audience. Met with Rick Moya and Ben Maldonado, Premier Distributing - will provide check for $1500. for sponsorship of July 29, 2017 Downtown Freedom Festival. Chamber of Commerce business expo held in Downtown Courthouse Plaza area Meeting with Bill Keeler, Sr. about easement across his property for Alley Improvement project Gallup Main Street Arts & Cultural District update: Executive Director resigned - relocating to another city. GMSACD Board will recruit a new director. Art Crawl update. Gallup LDS meeting - Bohannan-Huston IEDC Conference – F. Bee attended sessions, met with exhibitors and presenters, introduced Rep. Lundstrum to project capital/project management consultant re: GLP and Tri-State power projects New Mexico Developer will visit Gallup September 27 to look at Ricca/Grand Hotel Bldg and Lowe’s Plaza (changed to October 4) Next BID Board meeting: October 19, 2017 Motion to adjourn: J.
