CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) ADVISORY
To protect our constituents, City officials and City staff, the City requests all members of the public to
follow the California Department of Health Services’ guidance and the County of Sacramento Public
Health Officer Order for the Control of COVID-19 restricting group events and gatherings and
maintaining social distancing. Additional information regarding COVID-19 is available on the City’s
website at www.ci.galt.ca.us.
Consistent with Executive Order N-29-20, the meeting will be held via teleconference/electronically
and the City Council will participate via teleconference/electronically. In-person participation by the
public will not be permitted and no physical location from which the public may observe the meeting
will be available. Remote public participation is available in the following ways:
1) Cable T.V. Broadcast on Metro Cable 14.
2) Livestream online at http://www.ci.galt.ca.us/i-want-to/watch-tonight-s-council-meeting-live.
3) Email public comments to pubcom@cityofgalt.org. The City Clerk will read the comments out loud
during public comment, subject to the customary 5-minute time limitation. If your comment concerns a

1. SUBJECT: Caterina Estates Project – Public Hearing
AGENDA REPORT: Hoffman
RECOMMENDED ACTION: 1) Receive Presentation; 2) Open public hearing and receive
comments; 3) Upon closing the public hearing, adopt a resolution approving the Initial Study
Mitigated Negative Declaration and the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for the
Caterina Estates Project; 4) Adopt a resolution approving the General Plan Amendment of 12.4
acres from LDR to MDR; 5) Introduce by title only and waive further reading of the ordinance
amending the District Zoning Map of the City of Galt to Rezone 12.4 Acres of the Caterina
Estate Project from R1A to R2; and 6) Adopt a resolution approving the Tentative Subdivision
Map subdividing the 12.4 acre site into 61 single family lots for the Caterina Estates Project.
