Welcome Commissioners McCall and Moore Welcome and thank you 2. Purchase of TV for Senior Bingo (Robbins) LR comparison for 65’’ • PJ suggested Best Buy for warranty • LR shared specs • BM – Roku • Vote: BM- Roku (W), DM –Roku (W), JW – Roku(W), Phyllis- Samsung(BB), LR – Roku (W) • Motion: PJ – Motion to limit purchase of TV to not exceed $400 (JW seconded) • - All in favor 3. SMUD Informational Fair (Robbins) (LR) • Met with Roxie- Comfrey Senior Homes, offered use of their comm. Room • Leslie with SMUD –additional $2500 available if info fair is held sharing SMUD and other helpful info. • LR- Create comm. • JW, PJ to chair • Working on possible vendors JW will work with ML 4. Senior/Care Homes (Robbins) • LR- GSRC wants to create a list of contacts for local care homes • Share local info with them • Needs to get a list of Galt area care homes and managers 5. Senior Resource Guide Updates (Robbins) –on next agenda also • Get electrical copy from Bob Balliet • Commissioners to review and help update • $1250 budgeted may ask for more- make change Brown act Bingo?  check with CC  B. Old Business: 1. Community Dinner and Senior Luncheon Recaps - successful 2. Bus Trips for Seniors to Casinos Update – PJ • LR- AllWest Linda Williams- sending info on Red Hawk, Hard Rock still do trips as well as bus trips • PJ- Sky River contact 3. Senior CPR Classes/Tour of CSD Fire Station waiting for agreement from both entities to be finalized 4. Bingo – Dennis McCall has keys • Bingo prizes – complaints from participants • Letter for donations to commissioners April 1st Canceled Commissioners’ Reports: Chair L. Robbins:- N/A Commissioner P. Johnson: Comm. For the aging and disability friendly action plan Commissioner D. McCall: N/A Commissioner B. Moore: 3/9 EG – Pat Hume is the sponsor for Aging/ disabilities Resource connection 2021 goals on aging – trying to prioritize things to focus on Commissioner J.
