Advisor: Monica Lopez – Parks & Recreation Present Guests Present: Tara Wilson, Michael Malone Public Comment: Under Government Code Section 54954.3, members of the audience may address the Commission on any item of interest to the public or any agenda item before or during the Commission's consideration of the item. Speakers shall restrict their comments to issues that are within the subject matter authority of the Commission and limit comments to a maximum of five (5) minutes. Acceptance of Minutes: Meeting of October 26, 2023. Approved (Wilson moved, Werblun seconded, all approved) Presentations: N/A A. New Business:N/A B. Old Business: 1. Community Dinner (Leesa Klotz is the chair) and Senior Luncheon (Craig Morris, chair) – both are looking for volunteers. Wilson has helped pass out flier. Members can volunteer for both events, if so desired. 2. Bus Trips for Seniors to Casinos Update Robbins will help Johnson contact All West Coachlines. 3. Senior CPR Classes/Tour of CSD Fire Station (Wilson) CSD visited Bingo last Monday. Vials of Life were requested – CSD will get back to COA regarding what can be provided. CSD will also let COA know what kind of CPR classes/information can be presented to the seniors. 4. Bingo Members can now sign up for the Mondays he/she plans to help with. No Bingo 12/25, 1/1 Commissioners’ Reports: Chair L. Robbins: GSRC trying to put together more activities on Thursdays. Game Day has not been well attended. Commissioner P. Johnson: would like Commissioner Werblun to speak at an upcoming Bingo Commissioner J. Werblun: shared her participating with Mac @ Night. Would like to promote MSSP more – starting with Galt Place. Commissioner B. Wilson: Denny’s would like to continue to sponsor. A-Z Foundation continues to look for volunteer opportunities. December 28th meeting will be canceled due to a planned Lack of Quorum.
