MEMBERS 2) Citizen’s Comments Ken Parker Village President Steve Doedler introduced himself as a candidate on the Spring 2022 Election Ballot for Duane Gallo District 10 Supervisor which includes Genoa City, and announced that he will be present Trustee for a Q & A after tonight’s meeting. Paul Jargstorf -A Kellie Bohn, J2 Brookwood Superintendent spoke about the operational referendum on the Trustee upcoming spring election ballot, and will also be present for a Q & A after the meeting. Dave Kamholtz 3) Consent Agenda: Any item listed on the consent agenda may be removed at the request of any Trustee member of the Board. Jim Krause Approval of Payment of Bills Trustee Approval of Monthly Financial Reports; Payroll Approval of Minutes: Reg. Mtg. February 10th, 2022 Pamela Larson-A Closed Session Mtg. February 10th, 2022 Trustee Approval of Operator’s License: (PD Approved) –None Phil Traskaski On a Gallo/Traskaski motion to approve consent agenda; motion carried by trustees: 4-0. Trustee 4) Unfinished Business: NONE 5) New Business: a. Approval of hiring of Julie Clancy for the position of Deputy Clerk-Treasurer. On a Traskaski/Gallo motion; carried 4-0. b. Proclamation 03-11-2022, A Proclamation Celebrating Kaidynn Engel of Genoa City and her Earning of the Girl Scout of the Girl Scout Gold Award. Ms. Engel was present and received proclamation. 6) Ordinance and Resolution Updates: 3-10-2022 Ordinance Update of Chapter 280: Floodplain Zoning Ordinance Update On a Kamholz/Krause motion; carried 4-0 7) Attorney Report: Linda Gray No Report 8) Supervisor Reports Clerk/Treasurer Jurewicz’ Report -- Nothing to add; see attached PW Supervisor Cole’s Report – Spoke about Focus on Energy Audit; see attached Chief Balog’s PD Report -- Spoke about Use of Force policy, applications for FT Patrol open until April 15 th, Public Safety Committee will review one ordinance per month; see attached 9) Standing Committee Reports  a. Finance- (VP Parker) Reviewed monthly bills and financial reports b. Human Resource- (Trustee Traskaski) – DPW Interviews coming up c. Parks & Recreation- (Trustee Kamholtz) - No meeting; no report d. Community Relations and Communications- (Trustee Larson) – No meeting; no report e. Public Safety and Licensing- (Trustee Gallo) – Asked DPW to look into blinking stop sign light at Fellows Rd. and Main St. f. Economic Development and Zoning- (Trustee Jargstorf) – No meeting g. Public Works- (Trustee Krause) – Updates on DPW Yard, Discussed Touch a Truck on Aug 6th, 10) Village President Report – None 11) Adjourn into closed session in accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85(1) a. (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility regarding Department of Public Works.
