Special Called Georgetown City Council Meeting Minutes of May 28, 2025 Page 1 of 1 Special Called Georgetown City Council Meeting May 28, 2025 6 pm Mayor Jenkins called the Special Called Georgetown City Council meeting to order at 6:00 pm. All members were present except Councilmember Lusby Mitchell. After a moment of silence, Councilmember Sames led the pledge. 1. Minutes A motion to approve the minutes from the May 12, 2025, City Council meeting was made by Councilmember Hampton and seconded by Councilmember Wilkins Brent. The motion was unanimously approved. 2. Acknowledgement of Check Register Mayor Jenkins requested that council members acknowledge receipt of the check register. All acknowledged receipt. 3. Mayor's Comments Executive Order – Georgetown Business Park Authority – Katy Prather, Joshua Landacre, and John Traylor A motion to approve the three appointments was made by Councilmember Menke and seconded by Councilmember Hambrick. The motion was unanimously approved. 4. First Readings a) First Reading of Budget Amendment Ordinance FY 2024-2025 – Sponsors Tammy Lusby Mitchell and Greg Hampton b) First Reading of Budget Ordinance FY 2025-2026 – Sponsors Tammy Lusby Mitchell and Greg Hampton 5. GMWSS a) Kentucky Transportation Cabinet – Temporary Easement A motion for approval was made by Councilmember Stone and seconded by Councilmember Menke. The motion was unanimously approved. b) South Sewer Extension – Performance Bond Update A motion for approval was made by Councilmember Menke and seconded by Councilmember Tingle Sames. The motion was unanimously approved. There being no further business, Mayor Jenkins adjourned the meeting at 7:44 pm.
