MEMBERS OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL WILL ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE IN THE 2014 GILBERT FAITH SUMMIT ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS The agenda includes the following: - Registration; - Introductions; - Welcome and Invocation; - General updates including population and growth trends, updates on downtown, recent project completions and new projects, youth challenges including drugs and social media, reminders on what the community can do to keep Gilbert safe, domestic violence resources, fire inspections. Community Emergency Preparedness Plan, Community Needs Assessment, and updates on the Parks Master Plan.; - Town Calendar: upcoming Town and regional events; - Make A Difference Day/+ 100 Hours of Service; - Resources available to the Faith Group; - Volunteer connections and opportunities in the community; - Closing blessing. ADJOURN SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE TO PARENTS: Parents and legal guardians have the right to consent before the Town of Gilbert makes a video or voice recording of a minor child. A.R.S. 1-602.A.9. Gilbert Council Meetings are recorded and maybe viewed on Channel 11 and the Gilbert website. If you permit your child to participate in the Council Meeting, a recording will be made. If your child is seated in the audience your child may be recorded, but you may request that your child be seated in a designated area to avoid recording. Please submit your request to the Town Clerk.
