Village of Goodrich Regular Council Meeting February 10, 2020 6:00 PM Minutes 1. Meeting called to order by McCafferty at 6:00 p.m. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Members Present: Ciaramitaro, McAbee, McCafferty, Light Members Absent: Barraco 4. Staff Present: Administrator/Clerk Wilkerson, Deputy Clerk Sasser, DPW Supervisor Mayne 5. Agenda: Motion: To approve the agenda as presented. Moved by McAbee, seconded by Light 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 6. Minutes: Regular Council Meeting, January 13, 2020 Motion: To approve the minutes of the January 13, 2020 Regular Council Meeting as presented. Moved by Light, seconded by McCafferty 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 7. Public Comments: No comments 8. Approval of Accounts: a. Treasurers Report: Motion: To accept the Treasurers Reports for January 2020 in the amount of $848,001.86 as presented. Moved by Light, seconded by McAbee 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. b. Bills and Transfers: Motion: To accept the Bills and Transfers for January 2020 in the amount of $129,367.81 as presented. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by McAbee 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 9. Reports: a. Administrator’s Report – Administrator Wilkerson updated Council on the Village burning ordinance, budget amendments, upcoming budget workshops, the new security alarm system and the finalization of the DNR grant and Saw grant. b. Street Administrator’s Report – Would like to have the Administrator look into flashing speed limit signs and stated that the DPW are doing an excellent job keeping roads clean of snow and ice this season. c. DPW Report – DPW Supervisor Mayne updated Council on the potholes on the gravel roads during the winter, waiting for the Paser Report from Genesee County Road Commission and the progress of the Wheelock Watkins Drain project. d. Code Enforcement Report – Noted e. Building Department Activity Report – Noted f. Cash Receipting Report December 2019 – Noted g. Fire Department Activity Report December 2019 – Noted h. Sheriff Department Activity Report December 2019 – Noted 10. Unfinished Business: a. None 11. New Business: a. Dam Repair Motion: To approve Wade Trims Option 2 in the amount of $3,875 for the inspection and temporary repair of the dam. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by McAbee Ciaramitaro yes, Light yes, McAbee yes, McCafferty yes. Motion carried. b. Road Study Motion: To authorize the Clerk to seek quotes for engineering study of all roads in the Village of Goodrich. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by Ciaramitaro 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. c. GEAR 2020 Schedule Motion: To accept the dates and requests of GEARs Grub Fests and Santa Run and Rudolph Trot for 2020. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by Light 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. Motion: To approve GEARs request for a gaming license. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by McAbee Ciaramitaro yes, Light yes, McAbee yes, McCafferty yes. Motion carried. 12.
