1. Meeting called to order by McAbee at 6:35 p.m.

5. Minutes: Regular Council Meeting: December 14, 2020
Motion: To approve the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting December 14, 2020 as

6. Approval of Accounts:

7. Public Comments: Two members of the public chose to comment
8. Reports:
a. Administrator’s Report – Wilkerson updated Council on receiving the 2021
recycling/yard waste pick up calendar, a sample of a medical marijuana caregivers
permit ordinance, a letter received from Goodrich Meadows requesting council to
pay 20% of their road repairs special assessment and the DPW winter road
maintenance.
b. DPW Report – Wilkerson read report from DPW; DPW has been working on snow
and ice removal, cold patching holes in Hawthorne Ridge Subdivision and hydraulic
hose replacements on the 2005 dump truck. They have also been working on
streetlight outages and would like to remind resident that they too should be report
the outages to Consumers Energy. The Village still has plenty of road salt for this
season. They would also like to remind residents that there is NO PARKING on the
streets during a snow emergency along with our ordinance that states no parking on
the roads between 2:00 am and 7:00 am per Village Ordinance 50, § 15.15, 8-13-
1979. And please remove the basketball hoops that are in the road right of way as
those too are illegal.

a. CDBG 2022-2024 Historical Preservation Project
Motion: To approve the CDBG Project Plan 2022-2024 Historical Preservation,
Ladies Library Museum; $10,000.

b. CDBG 2022-2024 Senior Project
Motion: To approve the CDBG Project Plan 2022-2024 Senior Project; $2,988.

c. DPW Laptops
Motion: To authorize the purchase of two laptop computers (FHD) from
Amazon for the DPW to be able to run the software provided by the SAW grant
not to exceed $1,400.
