Members Present: Caverly, McCafferty, Moore, Schluentz, Walworth Others Present: Administrator/Clerk Wilkerson, DPW Supervisor Mayne, Council/Deputy Clerk Sasser 3. Agenda: Motion: To approve the agenda as presented. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by Schluentz 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 4. Minutes: Regular Council Meeting December 12, 2023 Motion: To approve the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting December 12, 2023 as presented. Moved by Moore, seconded by Schluentz 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 5. Approval of Accounts a. Treasurer Report: Motion: To accept the Treasurers Reports dated December 2022 as presented. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by Moore Moore yes, Schluentz yes, McCafferty yes, Walworth yes, Caverly yes. Motion carried. b. Bills and Transfers: Motion: To accept the Bills and Transfers for December 2022 as presented. Genesee County Metropolitan Alliance Motion: To appoint Angie Adamec as the Village of Goodrich citizen representative to the Genesee County Metropolitan Alliance Committee. Moved by Walworth, seconded by Moore 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 9. New Business: a. Replacement wood for Benches Motion: To authorize the purchase of wood for repairing 13 benches at the cost of $417.58 each with a total cost of $5,425.94. Moved by Moore, seconded by McCafferty McCafferty yes, Schluentz yes, Walworth yes, Moore yes, Caverly yes. Motion carried. b. Proposed Farmers Market Motion: To appoint Schluentz and Moore to meet with Pastor Joel from the Goodrich United Methodist Church regarding a joint venture for a Farmers Market and to authorize the Administrator to obtain opinion of the Village Attorney regarding this process. Moved by Walworth seconded by Caverly 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. c. Planning Commission Appointment Motion: To appoint Matt Schlinker to the Village of Goodrich Planning Commission. Moved by Walworth, seconded by McCafferty 4 yes, 1 no. Motion carried. Motion: To amend the agenda to include the appointment to the Zoning Board of Appeals. Moved by Moore, seconded by Walworth 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. Motion: To appoint Jim Moore to the Village of Goodrich Zoning Board of Appeals. Moved by Walworth, seconded by Moore 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.  d. Resolution 2023-01 Motion: To adopt Resolution 2023-01 to revise the current schedule of fees. Moved by Schluentz, seconded by McCafferty 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. e. Dam Grants Motion: To set a Workshop/Special Council meeting on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 6:00 pm with Wade Trim to discuss grant options for the dam. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by Schluentz 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. f. Sewer agreement with Atlas Township Motion: To postpone the sewer agreement with Atlas Township until the Administrator is able to contact the Village attorney on this matter.
