a. Resolution 2024-01 M-DOT Resurfacing Contract
Motion: To adopt Resolution 2024-01; M-DOT contract number 23-5536
Michigan Department of Transportation for the resurfacing work on West
Hegel Road.

b. Goodrich Festival and Events 2024
Motion: To approve the Goodrich Festival and Events for tentatively August 2nd
and 3rd and Christmas on December 5th with the knowledge that they will
contact Administrator for all garbage receptacles and all permits.

c. Station No. 1, Social Hub; 10214 Hegel Road, Goodrich, MI 48438
Motion: To concur with the recommendation from the Village Planning
Commission to approve site plan #2 for Station No. 1, Social Hub at 10214
Hegel Road, Goodrich, MI 48438 for Jonathon and Casey Schlinker, Petitioners
for retail businesses, personal services and professional offices.

d. Dead Tree Removal
Motion: To authorize the DPW to remove a dead tree at the corner of Huron
Street and Ridge Road with using Outlaw Tree Service, Goodrich, MI at the
cost of $1,400.

Vote not taken due to discussion on additional information and clarification of
motion.
Motion: To authorize the DPW to contract with Outlaw Tree Service to remove
the dead tree at the corner of Hurton Street and Ridge Road at a cost of $1,400.

e. Bench Repairs
Motion: To authorize the DPW to purchase wood to repair the benches on M-15
at a cost of $2,819.52.

f. Seneca Street Drain Extension
Motion: To approve the proposal from Wade Trim to provide the described
scope of services for repair of the Seneca Street Drain Extension- Seneca Street
for a lump sum of $8,400.

g. Large Stones Purchases for erosion in the park
Motion: To authorize DPW to purchase large stones to help control dam
erosion from Johnson and Son’s Excavating, one full train not to exceed $2,200.

h. EGLE Dam Inspection
Motion: To authorize EGLE to do the required inspection of the Village Dam
and prepare a report at no charge to the Village.

i. Updated Procedure for Title VI Complaints
Motion: To adopt required procedure for filing a Title VI complaint and
forward proof of adoption to M-DOT Civil Rights program until within 60 days
of receipt.

j. Charter Language Amendment
Motion: To postpone item “j” until Council sends ideas and communications via
email to the President while he works with the Administrator on the language
amendment prior to the March Council Meeting.
