Village of Goodrich Regular Council Meeting April 8, 2024 6:00 PM Minutes 1. Meeting called to order by McCafferty at 6:01 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Members Present/Absent: Present: Caverly, McCafferty, Moore Schluentz arrived at 6:04 p.m. Absent: Walworth 3. Agenda: Motion: To approve the agenda as presented. Moved by Caverly, seconded by Moore 3 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 4. Minutes: Regular Council Meeting March 11, 2024 Motion: To approve the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting March 11, 2024 as presented. Moved by Caverly, seconded by McCafferty 3 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 5. Public Comment: One member of the public chose to comment. Schluentz arrived at 6:04 p.m. 6. Approval of Accounts a. Treasurer Report: b. Bills and Transfers: Motion: To accept the Treasurers Report and the Bills and Transfers for March 31, 2024 as presented. Unfinished Business: None 9. New Business: a. Resolution 2024-02 Approving Act 342 (KCI Project) Motion: To adopt Resolution 2024-02; Approving Act 342 Financing Contract and Publication of Notice Thereof. Moved by Schluentz, seconded by McCafferty Caverly yes, Schluentz yes, Moore yes, McCafferty yes. Motion carried. b. Proclamation 2024-01 National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week Motion: To approve proclamation 2024-01 proclaiming “National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week” in the Village of Goodrich on April 14-20, 2024. Moved by Schluentz, seconded by Moore 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. c. Emergency Lighting in Village Offices Motion: To authorize the repair of emergency lighting for Village office at the cost of $625 from Walker Electric, Inc. Moved by Schluentz, seconded by Caverly Schluentz yes, Moore yes, Caverly yes, McCafferty yes. Motion carried. d. Furnaces and Hot Water Heater Motion: To approve the lowest quote from “Two Mike’s Plumbing & Heating, LLC” to install four Armstrong 110,000 BTU up flow furnaces at a cost of $13,240 and one A.O. Smith 75-gallon hot water heater at a cost of $3,895 for a total cost of $17,135. Moved by Moore, seconded by Caverly 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. e. Ladies Library Feasibility Study Motion: To authorize H2A Architects, Jackie Hoist, AIA, to conduct a feasibility study of the Historic Ladies Library Museum at a total cost of $1,000. Moved by Schluentz, seconded by McCafferty McCafferty yes, Moore yes, Schluentz yes, Caverly yes. Motion carried. 10. Public Comments: One member of the public chose to comment. 11.
