Village of Grantsburg Village Board of Trustees Special Meeting Monday, May 12, 2025 The Board of Trustees for the Village of Grantsburg met on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the Village Board Room, 316 S. Brad Street, Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Present: President Rick Lindberg, Trustee Greg Peer, Trustee Hank Java, Trustee Leo Janke, Trustee Sam Campeau, Trustee John Addison Others: Police Chief Jared Woody, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Allison Longhenry, Greg Marsten- Burnett County Sentinel, Brent Blomberg, Todd Satter, Harlan Prine Call to Order Trustee Peer called the Special Village Board meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Clerk/Treasurer Meyer conducted roll call. The pledge of allegiance was recited. Committee and Representative Appointments The Trustees discussed the proposed list of committee and representative appointments. Trustee Campeau volunteered to replace Trustee Peer as the Ambulance representative. John Addison was added to the vacancy on the Public Works Committee. President Lindberg and Trustee Addison joined the meeting at 5:40 p.m. Motion by Trustee Peer, second by Trustee Java to approve the Committee appointments for the following committees: Administration, Public Safety, Public Works, and Leisure & Recreation and the Representative appointments for the following boards/associations: Library Board, Towns’ Association, Ambulance Committee, Fire Association, Fair Society Property Committee, Plan Commission, Industrial Development Corp. Liaison, and Board of Review (see attached). Motion passed unanimously. Change Village Board meeting time The idea of having Village Board meetings start earlier was discussed. Motion by Trustee Java, second by Trustee Addison to change the start time for Village Board meetings to 4:00 p.m. Motion passed unanimously. Elect President Pro Tem Motion by Trustee Java, second by President Lindberg to appoint Trustee Greg Peer as President Pro Tem. Motion passed unanimously. Change signatures on accounts at Community Bank Motion by Trustee Java, second by Trustee Janke to change the signers on Village bank accounts at Community Bank to Rick Lindberg, Gregory Peer, Sheila Meyer and Allison Longhenry with two signatures required on the Village checking account.
