City Council Meetings

City of Green River, Special City Council & Workshop Proceedings for September 24, 2019, 6:30 pm, Council Chambers, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members were present: Lisa Maes, Robert Berg, Tom Murphy, Michael Shutran, Jim Zimmerman and Gary Killpack. The following were present representing the City: City Administrator Reed Clevenger, Director of Finance Chris Meats, Director of Human Resources Cari Kragovich, Director of Public Works Mark Westenskow, Communications Administrator Amanda Cavaz, Police Chief Tom Jarvie, Fire Chief Mike Nomis and Director of Parks and Recreation Brad Raney. Approval of the Agenda: Council Member Zimmerman moved to approve the agenda. Council Member Killpack seconded, motion carried. Council Actions: (A) Consideration to Approve the Issuance of a Catering Permit to The Fish Bowl LLC., dba The Fish Bowl Bowling Center. Council Member Maes moved to approve the issuance of a catering permit to The Fish Bowl LLC, dba The Fish Bowl Bowling Center to cater alcoholic beverages at a wedding on September 28, 2019, from 4 pm until 11 pm, at the Island Pavilion. Council Member Shutran seconded, motion carried. Adjournment to Council Workshop: Council Member Killpack moved to adjourn at 6:33 pm. Council Member Shutran seconded, motion carried. Workshop: Discussion on the City’s 6th Penny Projects. Reed gave a brief presentation on the proposed 6th Penny projects. Council consensus is to present the projects that total $52,921,492 to the County in hopes they do not remove anything. Adjournment: Council Member Shutran moved to adjourn at 7:09 pm.
