City Council Meetings

City of Green River, City Council Proceedings for October 20, 2020, 7 pm, Council Chambers, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members were present: Gary Killpack, Lisa Maes, Tom Murphy, Mike Shutran, Robert Berg, and Jim Zimmerman. The following were present representing the City: Director of Finance Chris Meats, Director of Human Resources Cari Kragovich, Communications Administrator Steve Core, Government Affairs and Grants Manager Ryan Rust, Director of Public Works Mark Westenskow, Police Chief Tom Jarvie, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Erdmann, Director of Parks and Recreation Brad Raney and City Attorney Galen West. Approval of the Agenda: Council Member Shutran moved to approve the agenda. Council Member Killpack seconded, motion carried. Proclamations: Extra Mile Day. Presentations: Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center Introduction of the new Radiologist Oncologist. Council Actions: Consideration to Submit a State Farm Good Neighbor Citizenship Grant Application to State Farm for Two Driving Simulators for the Police Department. Council Member Shutran moved to authorize the submission of a State Farm Good Neighbor Citizenship Company Grant application to State Farm for two driving simulators for the Police Department. Council Member Murphy seconded, motion carried. Consent Agenda: Council Member Maes moved to approve the following: (A) Approval of a EAP Contract with Southwest Counseling Services for FY21; (B) Approval of an agreement with Long Building Technologies for the Installation of electronic door locks, in the amount of $7,730; (C) Approval of Minutes for: October 6, 2020 Council and October 13, 2020 Council Workshop; (D) Approval of Payment of Bills: Prepaid Invoices $557.81; Outstanding Invoices $317,008.03; Payroll Expenditures $293,935.80; Preauthorization Payments $1,065,000.00. Council Member Berg seconded, motion carried. Adjournment: Council Member Shutran moved to adjourn at 7:21 pm. Council Member Zimmerman seconded, motion carried.
