City Council Meetings

City of Green River, City Council Workshop Proceedings for April 27, 2021, 6:30 pm, in Council Chambers, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members were present: Gary Killpack, Robert Berg, Sherry Bushman, George Jost and Jim Zimmerman. The following were present representing the City: Director of Public Works Mark Westenskow, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Erdmann, Police Chief Tom Jarvie and Parks & Recreation Director Brad Raney. Presentations: (A) Update by Public Works on the Flaming Gorge Corridor Study. Mark gave a brief presentation on the Flaming Gorge Corridor Study and the Plans to move forward with improvements to Flaming Gorge Way; (B) Continuation of the Discussion on Community Pride and Volunteerism. Resident, Jeanette Paladino expressed her willingness to volunteer for Main Street. The Council discussed ways to get downtown Main Street to look better and ways they can bring people to Green River.
