City Council Meetings

City of Green River, City Council Proceedings for August 19, 2022, 11 am, Meeting is being held virtually by Zoom, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members attended: Gary Killpack and Jim Zimmerman. Council Member Jost attended by phone. The following were present representing the City: City Administrator Reed Clevenger, and the Director of Finance Chris Meats. Approval of the Agenda: Agenda was approved by moving to Council Action Items: A. Council Action Items: (A) Consideration to Approve the Issuance of a Catering Permit to the Red Feather, Inc. Council Member Killpack moved to approve the issuance of a catering permit to the Red Feather, Inc. to cater alcoholic beverages at the Art on the Green Banquet on August 20, 2022, from 3 pm until 10 pm, at the Island Pavilion. Council Member Zimmerman seconded, motion carried; (B) Consideration to Approve an Open Container Permit to the American Legion Tom Whitmore Post 28 for the Post 28 Riders Rally on August 20, 2022 from 10 am until midnight, within the barricaded area on N Center Street from Flaming Gorge Way to Railroad Avenue. Council Member Zimmerman moved to approve the issuance of an open container permit to the American Legion Tom Whitmore Post 28 for the Post 28 Riders Rally on August 20, 2022, from 10 am until midnight, within the barricaded area on N Center Street from Flaming Gorge Way to Railroad Avenue. Council Member Killpack seconded, motion carried. Adjournment: Council Member Killpack moved to adjourn at 11:07 am.
