Public Comments Resident – Ms. Luanne McCarthy spoke questioning the future of the Good Shepard Building along Main Street. Non-Resident – None 6. Nominations and election of Council President Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag to nominate Brian Shipley as Council President. Motion carried 4-0, with Councilor Fox and Councilor Hamill not voting. 7. Nominations and election of Council Vice President Motion by President Shipley, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag, to nominate Amy Hollowell as Council Vice President. Motion carried 4-0, with Councilor Fox and Councilor Hamill not voting. 8. Nominations and election of President Pro Tempore Motion by Councilor Zuschlag, seconded by Councilor Hollowell to nominate Jonathan Bailey as Council President Pro Tempore. Motion carried 6-0. 9. Motion to Appoint Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Bailey to appoint the following: A. Borough Manager – Jasson W. Urey B. Secretary/Treasurer – Jasson W. Urey C. Open Records Officer – Jasson W. Urey Motion carried 4-0, with Councilor Fox and Councilor Hamill not voting. Motion by Councilor Zuschlag, seconded by Councilor Bailey to appoint the following: D. Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer – Lyle Huffman E. Building Code Official – Lyle Huffman Council held brief discussions. Motion carried 4-0, with Councilor Fox and Councilor Hamill not voting. Motion by Councilor Bailey, seconded by Councilor Hollowell to appoint the following: F. Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer – Edward Reedy Motion carried 4-0, with Councilor Fox and Councilor Hamill not voting. Motion by Councilor Zuschlag, seconded by Councilor Bailey to appoint the following: G. Solicitor – Douglas & Joseph Motion carried 4-0, with Councilor Fox and Councilor Hamill not voting. Motion by Councilor Bailey, seconded by Councilor Hollowell to appoint the following: H. Engineer – Buchart Horn Motion carried 4-0, with Councilor Fox and Councilor Hamill not voting. Motion by Councilor Bailey, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag to appoint the following: I. Auditor – Stillwaggon & McGill Motion carried 6-0. 10. 2016 Meeting Schedule Motion by Councilor Bailey, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag to hold the regular session meetings on the second Monday of each month and the work session meetings on the preceding Thursday at 7:00pm.
