Greenville Sanitary Authority 09-15-16 GREENVILLE SANITARY AUTHORITY GREENVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Thursday, September 15, 2016 ~ 6:00 p.m. CALL TO ORDER Dr. Mueller called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm ROLL CALL: Henry M. Mueller, Vice Chairperson Jonathan Bailey Pamela Auchter Samantha Iliff Todd Heathcote OTHERS PRESENT: Jasson W. Urey, Borough Manager Lyle Huffman, Director of Public Services James Douglas, Solicitor Sam Gibson, KLH Engineers Also present: No visitors present Media: Caleb Stright, Record Argus 1. REORGANIZATION A. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, seconded by Mr. Heathcote to nominate Mr. Bailey as Chairperson. Motion carried. B. Motion by Mr. Heathcote, seconded by Ms. Iliff to nominate Mrs. Auchter as Vice Chairperson. Motion carried. C. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, seconded by Dr. Mueller to nominate Ms. Iliff as secretary. Motion carried. D. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, seconded by Mr. Heathcote to set the 2016-2017 meeting schedule as follows: December 15th in 2016 and January 26th, April 27th, July 27th and October 26th in 2017 all beginning at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers. 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS No public in attendance. 3. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES A. Motion by Dr. Mueller, seconded by Mrs. Auchter to accept the minutes of the June 16, 2016 regular meeting. Motion carried. Page 1 of 2 Greenville Sanitary Authority 09-15-16 3. FINANCIAL REPORTS A. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, seconded by Mr. Heathcote to accept the June 2016, July 2016 and August 2016 treasurer’s reports. Motion carried. 4. ENGINEER’S REPORT/KLH ENGINEERS, INC. A. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, seconded by Dr. Mueller to accept the Engineer’s report. Motion carried. 7. NEW BUSINESS A. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, seconded by Dr. Mueller to adopt Resolution 2016-02, requesting the Small Water and Sewer Program Grant, designating an official to execute all documents, describing briefly the project scope and identifying the grant amount. Motion carried. 8. AUTHORITY MEMBERS COMMENTS The Board members held discussions regarding the future Sanitary Authority collection system repairs in coordination with the Borough of Greenville future paving program. 9. BOROUGH MANAGER COMMENTS Mr. Urey discussed the Race Street Bridge project. 10. NEXT MEETING The next meeting of the Greenville Sanitary Authority is Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers. 12.
