Council met in regular session with additional members present: Police Chief Steve Dorsey, Zoning
Inspector Cles Inmon, Clerk Betty Inmon.
Visitors: Gayle Bovia was on hand to brief council of events coming this year. GIG will be holding two
cleanups this year, one in spring and one in the fall; gun raffle in July, Car show will be hosted by Bucks,
Painted Cowgirl and Oma’s Belgian Waffles this year.

Shoemaker moved to accept the invoices in amount of $39,381.01 R. Wilson second. Vote as follows:

Administrator’s Report: Touched base on several projects he is working on; GPS the cemetery, CDGB will
come through in April, and updating the wells. Apologized to chief for not contacting him about building
situation with building beside bank.
Police Chief’s Report: Truckers have been trying to get to village with GPS and are taking down utility
poles, Owner of Building beside bank is ignoring the certified letters being sent, asking for another officer to
help with zoning issues.
Zoning Inspector; Zoning inspector apologized to chief for not contacting him about building beside bank.
Two building permits issued.
Solicitor’s Report: N/A due to illness.
Mayor’s Report: Easter egg hunt was success, congrats to Friends of Library; Huron Co. Hiring Fair will be
taking place, Ordinance for pay increase for license holders will be ready next council meeting, ask Virgil to
look at benches at Reservoir Park.
Council Discussion: Lloyd ask chief if there was a way to stop Truckers from entering village on
Greenwich Angling Road. Discussion on how to possibly control situation.
