Greenwood Council Meeting Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 6:00pm Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call- Ashbeck, Jordan, and Nelson all present. Schecklman absent. Also present Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar, Attorney Bonnie Wachsmuth, Public Works Director Eddie Herrick, and Utility Director Trent Johnson. Karen Hurd came to speak to Council to introduce herself as a candidate for the 68th District State Assembly. New Business: 1. Ashbeck motioned to donate $1,000 to the Greenwood School Districts summer rec program. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 2. Nelson motioned to reroof the Wastewater Treatment Plant through Maurer Roofing, INC for $19,950. Jordan seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Ashbeck motioned to resurvey, appraise and put parcel 231.0526.000 up for sale. Jordan seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. Discussion was made regarding parcel 231.0605.016. Council would like to see a few more options lotting the parcel off. No motions were made. 4. Ashbeck motioned to approve the operator’s licenses as presented. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 5. Nelson motioned to approve the Class “A” Beer licenses as presented. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 6. Nelson motioned to approve the Class “A” Liquor licenses as presented. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 7. Ashbeck motioned to approve the Class “B” Combination licenses as presented. Jordan seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 8. Ashbeck motioned to approve the Cigarette Over the Counter licenses as presented. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 9. Ashbeck motioned to change the security level at the Branstiter Museum. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 10. Ashbeck motioned to approve the bills and vouchers as presented for May. Jordan seconded the motion. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried. 11. Nelson motioned to approve the bills and vouchers as presented for June. Ashbeck seconded the motion. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried 12. Ashbeck motioned to approve the minutes as corrected for May. Jordan seconded the motion. All ayes motion carried. 13. Ashbeck motioned to approve the minutes as corrected for May.
