Greenwood Council Meeting
Wednesday, December 20, 2022 at 6:00pm
Council Chambers
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call- Schecklman, Ashbeck, Jordan, and Nelson all present.
Also present Attorney Bonnie Wachsmuth, Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar, and Police Chief Bernie Bock.
New Business:
1. Nelson motioned to approve the water tower painting contract with Lane Tank in the amount of $147,000.
Schecklman seconded the motion. Roll call vote all ayes. Motion carried.
2. Ashbeck motioned to approve the operator’s license for Kristine Crow with Family Dollar in Greenwood.
Schecklman seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried.
3. Schecklman motioned to approve the service contract with Energenics in the amount of $2,372. Nelson
seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried.
4. Discussion on sanitary survey results everything looks good. No action needed.
5. Update from MSA on Miller Street project progress. No action needed.
6. Nelson motioned to reimburse up to 24hours of PTO back to Officer Meyer as well as $250 upon completion
of training. Schecklman seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried.
7. Schecklman motioned to approve the bills and vouchers as presented. Jordan seconded the motion. Roll call
vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
8. Schecklman motioned to approve the minutes as presented with the correction to the adjournment of the Park
and Rec committee meeting that took place on November 15, 2022. Jordan seconded the motion. All ayes.
Motion carried.
9. Schecklman motioned to adjourn. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried.
