Greenwood Council Meeting Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 6:00pm Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call- Nelson, Hinker, Bolf and Ashbeck all present. Also present Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar, Utility Director Trent Johnson, Public Works Director Eddie Herrick, Attorney Bonnie Wachsmuth and Josh Collins. New Business: 1. Nelson motioned to approve the CMAR report resolution 4-24. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 2. Nelson motioned to approve the operators licenses as presented. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Ashbeck motioned to approve the Class “A” Beer licenses for Kwik Trip#315, River Country Cooperative, and Family Dollar #30572. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Nelson motioned to approve the Class “A” Liquor licenses for Kwik Trip #315, River Country Cooperative, and Family Dollar #30572. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 5. Bolf motioned to approve the Class “B” Combination licenses for Wallis Hinker Brux Post 238 American Legion, Funte’s Bar, Blue Mirror Bar & Bowl, Chelsie’s Grill, and The Saloon, LLC. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 6. Ashbeck motioned to approve the Cigarette Over the Counter Sales licenses for River Country Cooperative, Family Dollar #30572, and Kwik Trip #315. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 7. Hinker motioned to approve the removal of 4 trees at the Greenwood Cemetery. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 8. Property owner Josh Collins residing at 302 E Schofield spoke with Council requesting to be able to keep quails and ducks at their residence. Council would like to see a signature from the surrounding residences acknowledging that they would like to keep birds on their property. Attorney Wachsmuth discussed the need to amend the City Ordinance if Council chooses to allow for the keeping of these birds. Hinker motioned to table the discussion to July 17th meeting at 6:00pm. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 9. Ashbeck motioned to approve the vouchers as presented. Bolf seconded the motion. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried. 10. Bolf motioned to approve the minutes with corrections. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 11. Nelson motioned to adjourn. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried.
