Ryan Municipal Building PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION Meeting Notice/Agenda January 16, 2025 (Thursday) – 6:00 p.m. Hales Corners Village Hall (5635 S. New Berlin Road) Notice is hereby given that the Public Works Commission will meet at the above date, time, and place. Notice is given that a majority of the Village Board may attend this meeting to gather information about an agenda item over which they have decision-making responsibility. This would constitute a meeting of the Board per State ex rel. Badke v. Greendale Village Board even though the Board will not take formal action at this meeting. Houte, DPW Project Manager Public:  One Resident. 2.0 GENERAL BUSINESS o Approval of Minutes – December 19, 2024  Motion to approve the 12-19-24 meeting minutes by Fritz and seconded by Postonik. Vote approved unanimously. o Public Comment  None  3.0 ADMINISTRATION REPORT o DPW Task Updates  Houte provided an update on Village Staff tasks. o DPW Manager Updates  We-Energies Easement Request  Houte presented the request. Motion by Fritz: Public Works Commission recommends to the Village Board the acceptance of requested electrical utility easement for Village owned parcel 6609986002, Seconded by Riemer. Motion passed unanimously. 4.0 PROJECTS: 4.1 2024 Road Program – Update  Houte presented project status update: finalizing project quantities, preparing for final project costs, prepare Change Order to reconcile quantities and warranty extension. Plan on reviewing project for acceptance in the spring and generate a Punch List. 4.2 Lory Ln. Lift Station – Update  Houte presented project status update: Engineer and Contractor working through submittals. Staff requested that the two alternate bid items be installed in the mean time for the bulk of the project to begin in April. 4.3 Hales Happiness Water Main – Update  Houte presented project update: Engineer working with City of Milwaukee for IGA, scheduling for finance, bidding, and Public Hearing. 5.0 NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING – February 20, 2024 @ 6:00pm 6.0 ADJOURNMENT  Motion to adjourn by Postonik and seconded by Merkel.
