The training session was conducted by Terry Born, Sr. Property Appraisal Consultant, Dept. of Taxation, in
conjunction with Patricia Melochick, Sr. Deputy City Attorney, City of Hampton.
Present: James Hunsecker, Dale Evans, Thomas Perham, Julianne Cyr
Training Session: Training began at 8:30 am with a presentation by Patricia Melochick, Sr. Deputy City
Attorney. The training continued with a webinar presented by Terry Born of the Department of Taxation. The
training session was concluded at 12:00 pm.

education session given by the Virginia State Department of Taxation on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 9 a.m. This
session includes information related to re-assessment practices and Board of Review procedures.
