CAPI Civic - Joint Meeting with Communications Committee Meeting Results January 26, 2017 – Canty Conference Room- 5:00 PM Present: Fred Everett– District 5 Neighborhood Commissioner Steve Edwards Chair of CAPI – Faith Based Representative Chuck McEachin – District 2 Neighborhood Commissioner Civic Communication Committee: Stephanie Afonja – Nonprofit Representative Sandra Medina – District 4 Neighborhood Commissioner Absent: David Duxbury - District 1 Neighborhood Commissioner Peggy Todd Co-Chair of CAPI - At-Large Commissioner The joint meeting of the CAPI and Civic Communications Committees of the Hampton Neighborhood Commission was called to order at 5:00 PM on January 26, 2017 at Community Development Conference Room I. Opening Roll Call – Quorum Verified Chair Remarks II. Old Business 1. You Make A Difference  Date and Time – March 25, 2017 5pm to 8pm  Location – Queen Street Baptist Church ($900 for venue and catering)  Applications – will make note for additional applications at NC meeting.  Theme - Youth or Neighborhood School Partnership III. New Business 1. Fred Everett was voted in with full consensus as the new chair and Peggy Todd as the Co-Chair of the CAPI Committee 2. The recommended Home Repair Blitz area is the North Phoebus area. The parameters of the area will be determined. IV.
