HAMPTON BUILDING CODE BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING 22 Lincoln St., Floor, Hordy Cash Conference Room Hampton VA 23669 July 30,2014 ll;00 a.m. Members Present: Chair, Herman Dorsey, Vice-Chair, Laurence Nisley Members: Alan Bourne, Frank Feagan and Sherman Crawley, Attendeefs) Present: Building Official, Steven Shapiro Absent: Member, Dexter Godfrey Purpose of Meeting: The Election of New Officers A the OJficiai Closing of Case 01-13, 36 Edmonds Cove Rd., Owned by Kimberly A. Pope and Eric Engler Ms. Petteway, Secretary to the Iloard - Requested to call the roll; a call of the roll was noted above. Shapiro - Opened the floor to accept nominations for the olTice of Chairman. Crawley - Moved lo have the slate of officers remain the same. Bourne - 2"^ the motion. The vote was called and carried unanimously that the slate of officers remain the same. Dorsey - Informed the Board that he will remain as Chair through April 2015 to give Mr. Shapiro and the City Council time to find a replacement. Shapiro - Reminded the Board that at the hearing on 11-25-13 concerning 36 Edmonds Cove, that a 60-day continuance was given lo allow Kimbcrly Pope and Eric Engler time to comply with the City's request, They did comply and their attorney has asked to withdraw the appeal. Bourne - Moved that we accept their withdrawal. Crawley - 2"*" the motion Dorsey - Called for the vote and it was carried unanimously. Bourne - Thanked Mr. Dorsey for giving the Board more time. Meeting was adjourned at 11:10 a.m.
