Rezoning Application No. 14-00005: by BurgerBusters, Inc. to rezone 1.16+ acres at 3375 Commander Shepard Blvd. (LRSN 6000982), 11 Semple Farm Road (LRSN 6000983), and 17 Semple Farm Road (LRSN 6000984) from One Family Residence (R-11) District to Neighborhood Commercial (C-1) District with proffered conditions to allow for commercial uses. Approval of this application would permit a restaurant with a drive through. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends commercial use for this area. B. Rezoning Application No. 14-00008: by Michael D. Sifen, Inc. to rezone 1.5+ acres at 1975 Cunningham Lane [LRSN 7001198] from Limited Commercial (C-2) District to General Commercial (C-3) District with proffers to facilitate the construction of a self-storage facility. Approval of this application would permit a three-story self-storage building subject to securing a use permit. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends mixed use for this area. This application accompanies UP14-00018. Copies of documents or information concerning this proposal may be obtained from the Community Development Department located in Hampton City Hall at 22 Lincoln Street or from Alison Alexander, 757- 728-5238 or aalexander@hampton.gov. C. Use Permit Application No. 14-00018: by Michael D. Sifen, Inc. to operate a self-storage facility at 1975 Cunningham Lane [LRSN 7001198]. The property is currently zoned Limited Commercial (C-2) District. This application accompanies RZ 14-00008, which would rezone the property listed above from C-2 to C-3 with proffers, which would permit a self-storage facility subject to securing a use permit. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends mixed use for this area. D. Rezoning Application No. 14-00009: by LF Enterprises, LLC to rezone 8.0+ acres at 960, 1014, 1018, and 1020 Big Bethel Road (LRSNs 4001445, 4001446, 4001448 & 4001447) from Limited Commercial (C-2) District with conditions and One Family Residence (R-11) District to Multiple Dwelling (MD-3) District with conditions for a maximum of sixty townhouse style, multi-family residences. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends mixed-use and low density residential for this area. E. Use Permit Application No. 14-00019: by Sherrie Greene for live entertainment inside Peninsula Soul Food and Sports Bar restaurant at 2710 West Mercury Boulevard [LRSN 3001284]. The property is zoned Limited Commercial (C-2) District, which permits live entertainment in association with a restaurant subject to securing a use permit. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends commercial for this site.
