Application 2015- 1841 ( Revision # 1):

A review of a wetlands permit to remove one existing groin, reconstruct a second
derelict groin, and construct a new revetment channel-ward of an existing seawall
was presented and discussed. Board Member Amick asked if there was enough rip
rap to build an 80 foot revetment. City Site Plan Agent Griffey responded that he did
not know the exact calculations from what was proposed in the first application as
opposed to the latest revision, but assumed that there would be enough material.

Board Member Hasselquist questioned why the filter cloth was not shown coming
down under the toe of the revetment. City Site Plan Agent Griffey responded that it
should go under the toe of the revetment and that the Board could add it as a
condition to the permit to make sure the filter cloth does meet the toe.

Board Member Burbage questioned whether the existing sheet piling and salt treated
pilings that are up against the bulkhead in the last drawing presented ( original
application) were being removed, as they were not presented in the current ( revised)
drawing. City Site Plan Agent Griffey stated to his knowledge the pilings were not
being removed and that the current drawing was focused on showing where the filter
fabric would go, as well as where the sheet piling would go between the filter fabric
and rock.

Board Member Thompson questioned whether City Site Plan Agent Griffey knew how
big the vinyl is in terms of thickness. City Site Plan Agent Griffey responded that he did
not know the exact specifications of the vinyl but that he has seen it before and it was
approximately one- half inch thick.

A motion was made by Board Member Burbage and seconded by Board Member
Hasselquist to approve JPA 2015- 1841 ( Revision # 1) as revised with the condition that
